The park today
A well-kept place to come back to
Atlantic Bays is a 32-acre family-run holiday park in the countryside at St Merryn, around ten minutes from the coast and the famous Seven Bays. It’s peaceful, secure and easy to settle into — the sort of place guests tell us they return to year after year.
We’re honest about what’s here. Under new management, the park has been steadily refreshed — a new bar and café, a refurbished play park and a renewed food offering — and below is exactly what you can use on site today.
Eat, drink & relax
Taffy’s bar
Taffy’s, our independent on-site bar, is the heart of the park — pizzas, drinks and outside decking for a relaxed evening once the beach bags are packed away, with live music and comedy nights through the season. There’s no need to drive out for supper after a long day in the surf.
Opening hours vary by season, so it’s always worth a quick call before you arrive — the team are happy to tell you what’s on.

Refurbished play park
A newly refurbished play park for the children, plus a large open field for ball games, kites and bikes — ideal for under-12s.
Launderette
Open year-round, alongside clean shower and toilet blocks and our linen and towel service.
BBQ area
A designated barbecue area by the touring field entrance — fire up a raised, supervised BBQ on a warm Cornish evening.
Secure & easy parking
CCTV and a site security barrier, with all guests signing in and out. Ample parking, one vehicle per unit, with overflow behind reception.

Settling in
Parking is straightforward — one vehicle per unit, with overflow behind reception (an extra car is £2 per night, two maximum). The whole site is covered by CCTV and a security barrier, and all guests sign in and out, so it stays quiet and secure.
