Dogs at the park
Where your dog can stay with you
We’re a dog-friendly park for touring and camping guests — so you can pitch up with the whole family, four legs included. Here’s exactly where dogs are welcome, so there are no surprises when you arrive.
Welcome on touring & camping
Dogs are welcome on our touring caravan and camping pitches, kept on a lead and under adult supervision at all times.
Two dogs, free of charge
You can bring up to two dogs to your pitch at no extra cost — there's no per-dog fee for touring and camping stays.
Not in lodges or cabins
To keep them allergy-friendly for every guest, pets are not allowed in the luxury lodges or the sun cabins / chalets.
Dogs should be kept on a lead around the park and supervised by an adult at all times, and please clear up after them. Full details are in our booking terms.

Dog-friendly beaches nearby
Several of the Seven Bays welcome dogs, with miles of sand to run off the energy. Many Cornish beaches operate a seasonal dog ban on the busiest stretches over the summer — often between roughly 10am and 6pm, with the most popular beaches restricted from mid-May to the end of September and others from July to the end of August. Dates and beaches vary, so always check the signage at the beach entrance before you let them off the lead.

Harlyn Bay
A wide, sheltered crescent of sand a few miles from Padstow with rockpools and dunes — a favourite for a family beach day with the dog.
Constantine Bay
A broad sweep of sand that's generally dog-friendly year round, with plenty of room to roam at low tide. Popular with surfers and walkers alike.
Treyarnon Bay
A smaller, quieter cove with caves and rockpools that appear at low tide — a peaceful spot for a coastal stroll.
Trevone Bay
A sandy bay roughly two miles away with a sheltered cove and clifftop walks on either side.
Polzeath
One of North Cornwall's best-known surf beaches, with a relaxed seaside-town feel and shops and cafés by the sand.
Seasonal restrictions and the exact dog rules differ from beach to beach — Cornwall Council’s dogs-on-beaches guidance and the signage at each beach are the definitive guide on the day.
On foot
Coast-path and estuary walks
From gentle, flat estuary trails to bracing clifftop headlands, there’s a walk for every dog and every pace within easy reach of the park.
The South West Coast Path
The coast path threads between the Seven Bays along the clifftops — leave the car and walk from one beach to the next, with big Atlantic views the whole way. Keep dogs on a lead near livestock and clifftop edges.
Around Trevose Head
A bracing headland loop past Trevose Head lighthouse with sweeping views over Constantine and Booby's Bay — a classic blow-the-cobwebs-away dog walk.
The Camel Trail
A flat, traffic-free former railway line running along the Camel Estuary towards Padstow and Wadebridge — easy, gentle walking that's kind on older dogs and little legs.

Out and about
Dog-friendly pubs & cafés
Plenty of pubs, cafés and harbourside spots around Padstow, St Merryn and the Seven Bays welcome well-behaved dogs — often with a water bowl and a treat behind the bar. The Cornish Arms at St Merryn, Rick Stein’s village pub a short walk from the park, welcomes dogs on leads in the pub and the beer garden. Policies do change, so it’s worth a quick call ahead before you set off.
Closer to home, our own bar and café has outside decking where you can relax with a drink after a day on the coast.
