Warm up on cold days in the tropical biome, ice skate at Christmas time and spend summer nights dancing at the Eden Sessions. For beautiful buildings, timeless gardens and perfectly Instagramable scenes head to any one of the stunning National Trust houses and gardens, or take a wander through the gorgeous Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Picture perfect Port Isaac is the tiny town that you'll recognise from the Fisherman's Friends movie (you can hear them sing every Sunday on the platt during the summer) and the classic Doc Marten series. For something a little different head to the National Seal Sanctuary in Gweek to meet the resident rescue pups and seals, or if you like all things spooky and supernatural you'll find the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle utterly fascinating and like nothing you'll have seen before.

Bigger kids and grown ups can get their adrenaline fix at the Lusty Glaze Adventure Centre on their clifftop zip wire or zoom across the bay via jet ski, and the skaters in the family will definitely want to head to the famous indoor skate park at Mount Hawke.
