Explore the great outdoors with an Autumn break in Cornwall
If you love walking, hiking, biking or just enjoy discovering new landscapes, then Autumn is the perfect time of year to visit Cornwall. Our holiday park is only a short distance from the North Cornwall coast where you can experience everything from surfing and kayaking to sunbathing and walking!
Walkers can pick up the South West Coastal Path nearby, which meanders its way around Cornwall for dozens of miles. Here you can discover hidden coves, secret sandy beaches and drink the spectacular cliff-top views!
Our holiday park is also only a short drive from Bodmin Moor. Here you can tackle Cornwall’s high peaks of Roughtor and Brown Willy and discover the ancient stone circles of the Hurlers and the Cheesewring.
We are also perfectly placed for you to visit some of Cornwall’s most popular destinations. Our holiday park is only a short drive from the idyllic harbour town of Padstow, made famous as the home town of celebrity chef Rick Stein.
Further up the north coast is Port Isaac – known to some as Portwenn, where TV’s Doc Martin is filmed. This picturesque coastal village is a must-visit, with its narrow streets, shops, cafes and restaurants – there’s so much to see and do here! It’s also a great place for walkers!
If, however, you prefer the beach life this Autumn then there really is only one place to visit – Newquay. Only a short drive from our holiday park, Newquay boasts 7 magnificent beaches and bags of entertainment! Packed with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs, Newquay is also widely regarded as the surfing capital of the UK – no visit here is complete without a trip to the famous Fistral Beach!
